I need help

I thought you were healed
but I didn’t know I was wrong
this strength I saw in you
wasn’t because you were strong
it was because you were trying to mend yourself
into the person you wanted to be
but you leaned on anger and we failed to see
that the cure you were searching for
was nothing but a poisonous fruit
that it wrapped you into bitterness
and you took the wrong route.

I don’t blame you
I promise I don’t
but this anger in you will destroy us both
maybe you should seek help
because we both know this anger isn’t new
I wish I could help
but I’m burning in the same fire as you.
